Lab Environment Request | T-Mobile Observability Workshop for Leveraging OpenTelemetry

By Fri 2/7/25, Fill Out This Form for a Splunk O11y Cloud Lab Environment

As a follow-up to the training, by Friday, February 7th, we invite T-Mobile to request an OTel (Splunk O11y Cloud) lab environment.

Original lab request comments for the training on 1/31/25: On Friday, January 31st we hosted the OpenTelemetry training for T-Mobile. Join Evolutio & Splunk for a virtual training exploring topics related to OpenTelemetry for Observability and user experience. For attendees who will work with OTel, please fill out this form for us to provision you a training lab environment to get hands-on with OTel and Splunk O11y.

Who SHOULD request a hands-on lab: anyone with a software development or coding background, skills to edit JSON, site reliability engineers, application engineers

Who SHOULD NOT ask for a lab: anyone without a coding background, or folks who will not work with instrumenting software applications with OTel (the instructor will lead the lab demo for you to watch)

You'll walk away with how to instrument OTel, basic set-up with OTel-as-a-Service thinking at T-Mobile, and then learn what to do if you need to customize an instrumentation.
