Boston Event | Why OpenTelemetry Matters for Observability & User Experience
Overview: Will improving Customer Experience with modern application architectures become an essential part of your role? Cisco and Evolutio invite you to join us on Thursday, May 16th afternoon to get hands-on and discuss OpenTelemetry and Full-Stack Observability's impact on infrastructure monitoring and user experience.
Date and time: On Thursday, May 16th from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Eastern), we'll be at Cisco's High St office for this fun and informative event, then from 4:00 - 6:00 pm we'll head to Society on High for a peer networking cocktail reception (5 minute walk from Cisco office). We will also offer this workshop virtually for those who cannot join us in person!
Daytime Format | Instructor-led Enablement Workshop:
Join Evolutio's 2-hour instructor-led training and short lab (sponsored by Cisco) exploring topics related to OpenTelemetry (OTEL) and why it matters for Observability and User Experience.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the OpenTelemetry data standard, why the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) builds projects like Kubernetes and now OTEL, and how it can be leveraged to bridge the gap amongst observability silos within organizations.
We'll uncover real use cases improving Observability maturity across mixed infrastructure and multi-cloud environments that host business applications. Our Observability experts will teach workshop guests, using Cisco Observability Platform as a lab, how to work with and surface OTEL data.
Who is this for: Network Engineers, DevOps, Applications/ Monitoring/ SRE, and Infrastructure engineering teams who are trying to navigate their Observability practice across hybrid environments (mix of on-prem and cloud) and multi-cloud (across AWS, Azure, GCP, and other hyperscalers). We also welcome business leaders or other strategic roles in IT and Digital Transformation to join the networking cocktail reception.
Virtual Attendees: Please indicate in the comment section of the form if you'd like a virtual calendar invite for the workshop session from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Eastern).
