We are very excited to share that Evolutio sponsored the November STEM Quick Wins, by The STEM connection, a non-profit STEM education organization for children.

What is STEM Quick Wins? STEM Quick Wins are free digital science, technology, engineering, and math activities that can be done at home. In the month of November, STEM Quick Wins focussed on the themes of Animal Conservation and Endangered Species.

This topic is close to Evolutio’s heart, as we are a member of groupelephant.com which owns and funds a non-profit entity, called Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP). ERP focuses on the preservation of at-risk elephants and rhinos through the economic upliftment of rural people in areas adjacent to these threatened species.

Each week The STEM connection selected a topic in line with the theme and shared an instruction sheet and a short video of a STEM Connection staff member explaining and showing the activity. The topics ranged from ‘Habitat hunts’ to ‘A Walk in Someone Else’s Fur’ that allow children to learn, explore, and have fun.
