EPI-USE Labs acquires an equity stake in Evolutio
EPI-USE Labs and Evolutio announced today that they have entered into a strategic partnership and that EPI-USE Labs has acquired a significant equity interest in Evolutio.
The two companies first established a partnership to jointly develop software to integrate SAP deployments into the AppDynamics and Splunk platforms. They realized, early on, that they have powerful complementary skill-sets and began working on a more substantive relationship, leading to this transaction. “EPI-USE Labs is a tailor-made partner for Evolutio,” said Adam Ties, CEO and cofounder of Evolutio. “Their vast experience, seasoned technical expertise, and expanding global footprint will give us an immediate opportunity that we would never have been able to achieve on our own. Throughout the evaluation of this potential partnership, the clear alignment of core values and overall shared ethos has left our team collectively humbled by the privilege to move into the next chapter of Evolutio’s journey alongside EPI-USE Labs.”
As part of this strategic partnership, the companies will jointly develop software and services that allow SAP clients to integrate with AppDynamics and Splunk. Evolutio will also use the global business platform of EPI-USE Labs to expand internationally. Jan van Rensburg, SVP of Security and Privacy at EPI-USE Labs, said, “From the start, I was immensely impressed with the people at Evolutio and enjoyed working with them. They have exceptional technical depth and moral character, and the company has a unique business model. They have a rare ability to use AppDynamics and Splunk to drive revenue and reduce costs for their enterprise clients by standardizing the deployment of these data platforms across many applications and groups. We’re excited to bring this capability to our clients who use SAP, to reduce the gap that exists between SAP and enterprise IT and Security teams.”
Laura Vetter, CTO and cofounder of Evolutio, is equally enthused by the new partnership. “Partnering with EPI-USE Labs is an extraordinary opportunity for Evolutio to leverage our skills to branch out from adoption consulting and technical expertise to build a broad toolset surrounding our core capabilities, AppDynamics and Splunk. These enriched capabilities will better serve our overall adoption model and our large enterprise clients for years to come. We couldn’t be more excited about what this partnership means for the future of Evolutio.”
